Winter Flower Arrangements To Get Inspired By

I’m a huge proponent of keeping fresh flowers in the home. I think they exude beauty, feminine energy and reveal a devotion to experiencing the finer, simpler things this life has to offer. The winter time can prove a bit tricky for flower arranging, however, as many of the more vibrant, colorful blooms are reserved for the spring and summer months.

Below, we’ve curated a selection of stunning winter arrangements that will inspire you to get creative even amidst these colder, gloomier weeks of the year.

Recreating this arrangement would be a great way to repurpose any pine, fir or juniper branches left over from your Christmas decor. Add a few tallow berry stems and you’ve got yourself a beautiful winter decor piece. If you’re lucky enough to have woodlands near your home, foraging for the branches would be another great alternative!

I recently discovered Volver Flowers and have been absolutely astounded with their beautiful work. This arrangement in particular is moody, elegant, and engaging. I love the dynamic use of varying heights, the complimentary colors and the vessel is unique and regal.

The muted color palette in this arrangement would play well with more neutral interiors. The varying dimensions keep things interesting and the use of both roses and silver dollar eucalyptus is a beautiful marriage of two of my personal favorites.

It’s easy to be enchanted by the ethereal look of this piece, with the use of wild flowers, berry stems and the sheer volume of it all! What a statement this would make at the entrance of your home, and really liven up a dreary, winter day.

This whimsical design by La Lavande floral studio includes pear blossoms, ranunculus, hellebore, and Fritillaria meleagris in varying shades of burgundy and deep purple.

This may be the most striking arrangement of the bunch! Created by WeAreFlwr, a London based floral studio specializing in dramatic floral installations, this piece (like much of their work) is the star of the show. I love the dark, moody shades of burgundy, the waxy leaves of the anthurium juxtaposed with the wispy, spider-like feel of the smoke bush stems, and the elegant quality that the calla lily lends to the whole arrangement. It’s the perfect marriage of mysterious, playful, elegant and striking.
