Outdoor Kitchens We Love

A well designed outdoor kitchen can inspire even the most reluctant home chef. Although I do not personally enjoy cooking (I am more of a baker) I do love al fresco dining and the idea of creating that meal outside as well as enjoying it outside is enough to get me excited to cook! Lately, I have had outdoor kitchens on the brain. I think it would be such a luxurious addition to our home one day! Small But Mighty

An outdoor kitchen doesn’t have to be big, it just has to be practical! I love the outdoor kitchen at Shea and Syd’s Utah home because it is a small design that packs a big punch! Personally, this is the ideal outdoor kitchen for our family as well. A large grill to accommodate everyone’s cookout favorites, a pizza oven and an outdoor fridge is all we would need! This one manages to fit in all the essentials and still has some countertop space available for food prep.
Airy Poolside Retreat

Kent and Olivia Fife’s outdoor kitchen is bright, light and airy. It is a massive space, able to accommodate a large dining table and an oversized living room (not pictured). Family and friends are able to congregate around the large, wood fired oven for pizza making while still having the best view of the pool. The vaulted beamed ceilings make this space usable for most of the year, rain or shine. It’s truly a dream!
Fully Equipped And State Of The Art

Chris and Julia Marcum’s outdoor kitchen is probably the most fully equipped outdoor kitchen we’ve ever seen. The amount of appliances and bells and whistles packed into this space is truly astounding. Under the pergola, you will find a pellet grill and smoker, flat top grill, power burner, outdoor sink, a two drawer fridge, ice machine, pull out double trash drawer, and plenty of other bells and whistles. Finally, the sealed, black granite countertops provide plenty of food prep area.
Entertainer’s Paradise

I’m always particularly impressed by these kinds of renovations. If you see Cyndy Aldred’s before on her outdoor kitchen project, you won’t believe it is the same space! She transformed her backyard into a true entertainer’s paradise with an enormous, fully equipped outdoor kitchen (complete with a vaulted beamed ceiling and multiple ceiling fans to combat the Texas heat), a countertop island around which guests can congregate, a large outdoor tv and living room space and multiple outdoor dining areas. All this is situated just off of the pool area to truly round out the perfect summer day.
English Countryside Dream

We had to include Lydia and Ali Millen-Gordon’s outdoor kitchen, particularly because of its attention to design detail and carefully selected materials of the highest quality. The space reflects the English country with its rustic look and the ruggedness of the raw materials chosen (that reclaimed stone sink is to die for!). The bespoke wooden cabinetry and brick pizza oven keep things traditional while the Big Green Egg ceramic barbecue keep things practically modern.
